As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to put pressure on our healthcare system, we understand how essential our infection prevention products are to reducing the spread of the virus, and we are working around the clock to support you throughout these difficult times.
Support and Resources
We are all in this together, and together we will come out of this stronger. Our sales and clinical teams are here to support you—through digital training, resources, or consultation on best practices. We also have numerous educational resources on our website dedicated to the topic of COVID-19, including articles, blogs and a free CE webinar. It’s just a small token of our thank you and continued partnership during this time.
In addition, we are continuing to monitor the CDC website for resources and further guidance related to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation. The CDC is recommending products listed on the EPA’s List N entitled Products with Emerging Viral Pathogens and Human Coronavirus claims for use against SARS-CoV-2. PDI has numerous disinfecting products on this list, including Super Sani-Cloth® wipes, Sani-Cloth® AF3 wipes, Sani-Cloth® Bleach wipes, Sani-Cloth® Prime wipes, Sani-HyPerCide™ spray, Sani-24® spray, and Sani-Prime® spray. Production, Distribution and Worker Safety
As global demand for certain infection prevention products continues to exceed supply, PDI is working around the clock to adequately support existing customers. With surface disinfection as one of the main ways to reduce the risk of spreading the SARS-CoV-2 virus, we have prioritized production of our surface disinfectant products included on the EPA’s List N. We are doing everything we can to ramp up production of these products, and, as a result, are producing 7 days per week and running the maximum number of production shifts. We are also now shipping 7 days per week to accelerate the transport of products.
We couldn’t do any of the above without our employees. Their safety is a critical priority every day and especially now. We have established social distancing and mandatory hand-washing protocols. In addition, disinfecting wipe stations, staggered lunches and breaks, temperature monitoring, and increased and enhanced cleaning procedures have been implemented, among other things. We are truly grateful to all of our associates for their continued dedication to bring our essential infection prevention products to our customers.
From everyone at PDI, thank you for all you are doing in the fight to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Stay healthy and well. For more information on what PDI is doing to support you during this time, visit pdihc.com.
