Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Clorox Healthcare has taken immediate and extraordinary measures to elevate our response to what has been an unprecedented demand of our cleaning and disinfection products. We have activated in a variety of ways including operating with increased efficiency, increasing production at our plants to 24 hours a day, and working with our partners to accelerate our supply chain. More specifically, we’ve increased our CloroxPro Germicidal Bleach production to 6 times historical levels in order to provide healthcare facilities another disinfecting option in the absence of ready-to-use wipes and sprays. Thanks to these efforts, we have been able to make almost 18 million more disinfecting products overall as a company and hundreds of trucks are being dispatched to every corner of the country each day.
In addition, to help healthcare facilities navigate this challenging time, we have developed a COVID-19 resource page where healthcare professionals can access all our educational resources and tools, relevant blog posts on the latest developments in the pandemic, and a list of CloroxPro and Clorox Healthcare products eligible to be used against the virus based on the EPA’s Emerging Viral Pathogen Policy.
